About the wedding being fake and all, I think in his head, he feels needed to go big or go home.
Like you,there’s nothing Fateh will do that’s gonna mk me feel pity for him but, he’s the only one who can really hurt Jasmean and at this point, that’s all he’s useful 4 so, I’ll take it.
